Events   1985 　　We, the Auto Industry Planning Design and Research institute, established in 1985, are an affiliate to China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC). We were known as the following names in succession, including Engineering Planning Department of CATARC at first, China Auto Industry Federation Planning Design Institute since 1998, China Auto Industry General Corporation Tianjin Planning Design Research Institute since 1993 and Auto Industry Planning Design Research Institute under the Ministry of Machinery since 1995. In 2007, in terms of design qualification, our name was changed into the same name in the business license, namely Auto Industry Tianjin Planning Design Research Institute under the Ministry of Machinery Industry. And the name is carried on up to now. Jun 8, 1994 　　The Ministry of Construction conferred us the Class A Qualification Certificate of Conducting Turnkey Project 　　License code: Jian Cheng Jia Zi No.3917 Apr 4, 1995 　　National Planning Commission conferred us the Class A Qualification Certificate of Engineering Consulting 　　License code: Gong Zi Jia No.3917 1997 　　Passed the ISO9001-1994 Quality Management System Certification. Jan 28, 1998 　　The feasibility research on the Xiali distributor technology for Tianjin Auto Electrical Factory designed by us obtained the Success Award for Excellent Engineering Consulting offered by China National Association of Engineering Consulting Jul 22,1998 　　The technical improvement project of the part supporting engineering for 150,000 Tianjin Xiali designed by us obtained the 2nd Grade Award of 5th Excellent Design offered by the Ministry of Machinery Nov 22, 1998 　　The Design Rules for the Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning in Machinery Plant whose formulation involved our participation obtained the 3rd Grade Award of Technical Progress offered by the Ministry of Machinery Industry. Jun 25, 2001 　　The Ministry of Construction conferred us the Class A Light Steel Qualification Certificate for special engineering design. The qualification included net frame, net shell, single layer steel frame, trestle frame and multi-layer frame. License Code: 1578 Aug 30, 2002 　　The Ministry of Construction conferred us the Class A Supervising Enterprise Certificate of “Tianjin Wanxing Construction Supervising Co., Ltd.” 　　License Code: [Jian] Gong Jian Qi No.（021022） Nov 6, 2002 　　The Ministry of Construction conferred us the Engineering Design Certificate of Class A for Machinery Industry and Class A for Construction Engineering in the Construction Industry 　　License No.: 020014－sj Nov 6, 2002 　　The Ministry of Construction conferred us the Class B Engineering Design Certificate for Utility Industry 　　License No.: 020014－sy Dec 10, 2002 　　Passed the ISO9001-2000 version update examination and passed the supervision examination in December of 2003 Oct 18, 2003 　　The technical modification project feasibility research designed by us for the auto production joint venture between Beijing Auto Investment Corporation and Korean Hyundai obtained the 1st Grade Award in the 3rd Success Award of Excellent Engineering Consulting in the Machinery Industry Aug 16, 2004 　　The new all terrain vehicle technical modification project designed by us for the Hunan Changfeng Group obtained the 2nd Grade Award in the 4th Achievement Award of Excellent Engineering Consulting in the Machinery Industry. 2004 　　Obtained the consulting assessment qualification for investment project in the automotive industry entrusted by NDRC and MIIT. Dec, 2008 　 Passed the ISO9001-2008 quality management system version update examination Oct 8, 2009 The Nanchang Automotive Industry Development Planning Project (2008-2011) obtained the 1st Grade Award offered by China Machinery Industry Expedition Design Association Jan 31, 2011 　　Obtained the Class A Supervising Qualification for Building Construction Engineering offered by the Ministry of Construction (the former Tianjin Wanxing Construction Supervsing Co., Ltdl was absorbed into Auto Industry Planning Design and Research Institute)
